Hospiscare
Hospiscare is a charity very close to our hearts and one we have supported for over 20 years. Putting on cycle rides, runs and raffles. Customers from our shop helped raise vital funds for the building and development of the new Kings House Day Hospice, here in Honiton.
Penny for your thoughts ...
For the past few years we have been collecting coppers here at the shop. We ask our clients and anyone passing, who may have any spare pennies to drop them in and help us to "Fill our Boots!" all funds raised go to support Honiton's very own Admiral Nurse. The Baton.
A home grown military charity, born from years of Alan standing behind a Barbers chair listening to the stories of men and women in the forces. Many of whom have simply been forgotten about. This charity isn't like most others for the simple reason, that it is more about raising awareness than about making money.
The Baton is a symbol of national conscience, crafted with care & respect from the handle of a stretcher - symbolising pride, suffering, courage & hope.
